Become a Member Council/Start a New Council
There are two ways to become a member Council in the national network of the World Affairs Councils of America:

  1. By starting a new organization
  2. By applying for an existing organization to become a member

Join the 1918 Society (formerly the Chairman's Circle)

Become a corporate/foundation sponsor
Becoming a sponsor of the national WACA is the fastest way to highlight your commitment to keeping Americans engaged in the world. Sponsorship opportunities exist at several levels and carry different benefits, depending on your requirements. At all levels, sponsors enjoy immediate exposure to a broad national audience. The WACA accepts a limited number of interns at its Washington, DC office each semester. Fall internship run from approximately September-December, spring internships from January-May, and summer internships from May-August. Internships are unpaid; hours are flexible depending on students' schedules and the needs of the office.

Program/Outreach Interns - Applications are due by August 16. Selections will be made the first week of August. The internships will begin September 5 and end December 22. Exact dates and hours can be flexible, but preference will be given to those who are able to work through these dates.
