KNOW NOW Conference Call Series

The World Affairs Councils of America is pleased to present the Know Now conference call series. These calls will feature global thought leaders hosted by WACA as well as local authorities in government, business, academia and cultural fields who are identified and moderated by local Councils, using our national conference call platform to bring local and national issues of global dimensions to our network.




WACA presents KNOW NOW with Faisal Gill, the Nation's first Muslim Party Chair, to discuss "The Revised Travel and Refugee Ban" with Tricia Preston, Executive Director of the Vermont Council on World Affairs on Thursday, April 27, at 2:00 - 2:30 PM ET.

WACA hosted Lindsay Lee Plack, USGLC's Government Relations Director, for a KNOW NOW briefing to discuss the the implications of these proposed budget cuts and USGLC's efforts to stop them. A Mobilization Toolkit is offered to Councils and individuals wishing to participate in this effort.
