For more than two decades, the World Affairs Councils of America's annual conference has presented top government officials, diplomats, business executives, civic leaders, think tank policy experts and journalists to a national audience. Council leaders and members from WACA's 95 affiliates across the country engage with these speakers and thought leaders over the course of three stimulating days in our nation's capital. We look forward to your attendance this year!

Council of the Month: World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh

The WACA National Office is pleased to recognize World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh as Council of the Month for hosting the Spring Leadership Meeting for Councils and the National Board's Summer Meeting in June.

We would like to extend a special thanks to WACA Vice-Chair Sylvia Fields, WAC Pittsburgh President and CEO Angelica Ocampo, and the entire WAC Pittsburgh team for their hospitality and for putting together such an engaging visit to their home city! 

Future of Korea 2017

WACA is pleased to announce that several World Affairs Councils have been selected to receive grant funding for Future of Korea 2017, a program sponsored by the Korea Economic Institute.

KEI, in consultation with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, the U.S. Department of State, and the World Affairs Councils of America, based its selection on a highly competitive application process. WACA administers the grants for Future of Korea events. For more information on selected Councils and programing, click here.
