The national office organizes national videoconferences which a number of world affairs councils participate in.
These videoconferences are “insider” closed-circuit interactive events with key policy-makers and figures in the media.
The WACA President serves as the moderator.
The videoconferences to date:

“The US-EU Relationship and Iraq” with EU Amb. Guenter Burghardt
“Russia under Putin” with Susan Eisenhower
“The Middle Peace Process” with Amb. Ryan Crocker
“US Human Rights Policy” with Assistant Secretary of State Lorne Craner
“Commanding Heights” with Daniel L. Yergin
“Anti-Americanism and World Opinion” with Daniel Yergin and Andy Kohut
“Oil and Geopolitics” with Daniel Yergin and Adrian Wooldridge.
These events are not expensive for councils as land-line signal transmission rather than satellite is used.
