European Union Teachers' Workshop

Document Actions

WACA held a National Teachers' Workshop on the European Union in Washington, DC from June 28 through July 1. It was a professional development workshop funded by a grant from the European Union.

High school teachers who use Europe in Transition were nominated by their local world affairs council to participate. This year 22 teachers participated in the workshop. Europe in Transition is a curriculum unit of World in Transition Flagship Program, of the council system.

WACA hopes to begin an annual series of workshops associated with different units of the World in Transition series.
