Board Workshops

The National President and the Members of the National Board visit councils regularly, sometimes to conduct workshops with local world affairs council boards.

These workshops cover such topics as fundraising, budgets, conducting meetings, board rotation, bylaws and policies, board size and composition, task forces and committees, active versus passive board members, motivating board members, strategic planning, mergers, upgrading programs, expanding membership, and board events such as retreats, trips, and social events. Over 75 such workshops have been conducted over the last decade in the following locations:
