The Pacific and Asian Affairs Council (PAAC) is an independent, international education nonprofit with a mission to promote greater awareness and understanding of foreign affairs issues with special attention to Hawai?i’s role in the Asia-Pacific region. PAAC is preparing the next generation of leaders for an increasingly interconnected world and promoting citizen diplomacy one handshake at a time. They aim to build bridges, inspire young leaders, and develop global citizens. Since 1954, PAAC has provided global education to 99,182 high school students, 107,300 college students, and 85,400 community members statewide.
