August 26 | World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth | Luncheon With Senator Ted Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz is a two-term Senator from Texas since 2013 taking the seat vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchison. Currently, Senator Cruz serves on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. The World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth will host Senator Cruz in this speaker event and luncheon.

August 27 | International Relations Council | The Status of Peacebuilding Between India and Pakistan

The International Relations Council hosts Rajmohan Gandhi, historian, biographer, journalist, and peacemaker to give a lecture on the current status of the truce between India and Pakistan. Rajmohan is the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and currently serves as a research professor in the Department of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois. Rajmohan will discuss the global importance that the India-Pakistan relationship has on the rest of the world, followed by an audience Q&A.
